I lived on Maui for 17 years and there is a eucalyptus forest that you drive through on the way to Haleakala. Eveytime I drove through, I would roll down my windows so I could smell the fresh scent. This is not exactly like that, but very similar. I like it.

A refreshing home fragrance for Christmas, seasonal holidays or whenever. Slender rattan reeds absorb the scented oil, releasing crisp, just-cut forest scent throughout your surroundings. A beautiful tradition for giving to others, and to yourself.

The Frasier Fir is so fresh smelling. When I set the diffuser up and placed it on the kitchen counter, my teenage son came in and said it smelled like a forest. I would say to go light on the amount of reeds you put in the glass jar. I currently have five placed in the jar. Originally I had all of them and the scent was too strong. But five is just about right. We have a big house so I plan on purchasing a few more diffusers for other parts of the house.
